Raleigh, N.C. — Wake County authorities said they have solved a 7-year-old murder case.
Deputies said Andre Walker played a role in the murder of Rodney Austin.
Austin's remains were found in a wooded area off Wilmington Road outside of Garner in December 1999. He was reported missing from Raleigh in April of that year.
In February, deputies charged Rodney Riggins with Austin's murder.
Walker is due in court Friday.
