MAXTON, N.C. — The Robeson County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man accused of murdering his wife.
A warrant has been issued for first-degree murder for Randy Locklear, of 599 Isiah Road in Maxton. He is 53 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds.
Investigators said Locklear was last seen driving a burgundy 2001 Oldsmobile Bravada sport utility vehicle with 30-day tags on it. Anyone with information about his whereabouts or the death of his wife is urged to call the Robeson County Sheriff's Office at
(910) 671-3100.
Locklear is wanted for the murder of 38-year-old Katrina Ann Locklear, who apparently died of a shotgun wound to the head. She was found in her bed around 6:30 Friday morning by her 18-year-old son, and her body was sent to the Medical Examiner's office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy.
