CARY, N.C. — The family of a murdered sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington has released funeral arrangements.
Jessica Faulkner's family will receive friends at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home on 200 E Maynard St. in Cary, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church at 218 Academy St. in Cary.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to:

Faulkner was found dead inside of a campus dorm room Wednesday. Curtis Timothy Dixon faces rape, murder and kidnapping charges in connection with her death.
