Women Accused Of Stealing From Clayton Man's Bank Account

CLAYTON, N.C. — Two women, hired to look after a blind Clayton man, are charged with cleaning out his bank account.

Chantal Pennyfeather and Mary Watson are accused of writing nearly 100 checks totaling $35,000 from the 78-year-old man's account.

The women were hired to cook, clean and pay his bills.
