City, County To Operate Soccer Park

CARY, N.C. — Wake County and the town of Cary will operate the SAS Soccer park.

Monday, Wake County commissioners unanimously agreed to enter a 50-50 agreement for operating the facility. SAS will also offer up to $150,000 a year to maintain naming rights.

The Capitol Area Soccer League had trouble meeting the financial obligations, but is still responsible for any outstanding obligations.
