DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating an incident in which they say two women were injured when an off-duty police officer broke up a fight outside Jordan High School.
A department spokeswoman said Officer C.S. Barkley remains on active duty during the inquiry by the Professional Standards Division.
The ages of the women and how seriously they were injured were not immediately available.
Barkley joined the department in 1997.
