FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police say a man robbed a dry cleaner in Fayetteville, then led officers to another dry cleaner business and attempted to steal a car there.
Authorities said Jerome Dodenhoff, 34, robbed the Cliffdale Cleaners in Fayetteville at around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police followed Dodenhoff's Pontiac to the One Hour Cleaners in Haymont. Along the way, the car's tires became flat, police said.
Officers said Dodenhoff then tried to carjack a Lexus. Authorities arrested him before he could get away.
Dodenhoff has been charged with robbery and larceny of a motor vehicle.
