KINSTON, N.C. — Victims of a Kinston plant explosion have filed a class action lawsuit.
The victims are suing companies and manufacturers that supply West Pharmaceuticals. The lawsuit claims machinery was defective and that materials did not have proper safety warnings.
Officials said flammable dust caused the explosion that killed six people.
Thirty victims are part of the lawsuit.
