North Raleigh Apartment Fire Investigated

— Investigators are looking into what caused an apartment fire that forced the evacuation of dozens of residents in Raleigh Thursday night.

The fire call went out around 10:30 p.m. at the Falls of Duraleigh apartments off Duraleigh Road.

Firefighters say the fire started outside the complex and was confined to one unit on the second floor.

Three units suffered damages estimated at $100,000.
