Dozens Show Up For Memorial Service For Greensboro Army Reservist

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Nearly 100 people turned out to say goodbye to a Greensboro Army reservist killed in Iraq.

Army Sgt. Elmer Krause's convoy was attacked April 9. His remains were found last Friday, two weeks after the assault.

Many of them who attended his memorial service never met Krause.

Krause will be buried later this week in California, where his brother and sisters live.
