Raleigh Police Seek Man Who Robbed Bank

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police in Raleigh are looking for the man responsible for a robbery of the Bank of America at 5700 Creedmoor Road Monday.

The man was armed with a handgun when he entered the bank around 11:45 a.m. and demanded money.

Police say after bank personnel complied, the suspect put the stolen money into a blue plastic shopping bag and fled on foot. He was last seen running eastbound on West Millbrook Road.

Police are looking for a white man in his 20s to 30s, approximately 5 feet 10 or 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing between 160 and 170 pounds, They say he has long, light-colored hair and was wearing a white T-shirt, faded blue jeans and had a stocking cap pulled over his face.
