CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — Two people are dead following a single-vehicle wreck on Cliffdale Road early Monday morning.
The driver apparently lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree before it burst into flames around 3 a.m., according to the state Highway Patrol.
Officials say the two people inside the vehicle were so badly burned, they have not yet been identified.
