HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A Harnett County deputy was involved in a car accident Friday.
The accident happened on Highway 42 near the Harnett/Wake County line.
The deputy, who has not been identified, was the only person involved in the accident.
Authorities say the deputy was not injured, but his car was damaged.
