HOPE MILLS, N.C. — No charges will be filed in the death of an 11-year-old girl.
Hope Mills police say Alexa Godfrey was hit by a red pickup truck Thursday afternoon.
Witnesses say Alexa rode her bike into the path of the vehicle.
Alexa was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center where she died.
