CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Rape charges against a pair of teens accused of assaulting a fellow Chapel Hill High School student have been dismissed.
Each of the 15-year-olds pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of misdemeanor aggravated sexual battery.
The charges stemmed from an incident back in February at the school.
The teens could each face up to 14 24-hour periods of detention. They will be sentenced next month.
