CARY, N.C. — A traffic accident Wednesday morning at Cary Parkway and Laura Duncan Road sent three people to a hospital, including a woman who had been pinned inside her vehicle.

According to reports, the woman was driving a Ford station wagon and pulled out in front of a Chevrolet Suburban. The vehicles collided, leaving the woman pinned inside.

Cary firefighters were called to the scene and cut the doors off the station wagon to get the woman out. She was transported to WakeMed with unknown injuries.

The driver of the Suburban and one of two passengers in that vehicle also were taken to WakeMed.
