HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — The fines are stacking up against the owner of Hillsborough's historic Colonial Inn.
Francis Henry owes the town close to $2,500. Last week, the board voted to fine Henry $100-a-day until renovations began.
The fine is retroactive to March 26.
Henry bought the Colonial Inn two years ago, but he still has not made the renovations.
