Two Charged In Alleged Scam At RDU International

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two people are charged in an alleged airline ticket scam at

Raleigh-Durham International Airport

Police say Ralph Holman, 36, of Mebane, took boarding tickets belonging to Atlantic Coast Airlines and converted them for his own use. He is charged with two counts of embezzlement.

Police arrested former airport employee, Dana Pippin, 47, of Franklinton, in connection with the alleged scam on Tuesday.

The airline, doing business as United Express, reports losing more than $200,000.
