Sampson Authorities Arrest Dozens Of Suspects On Drug Charges

SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. — Sampson County deputies are in the middle of their biggest drug roundup in five years.

Investigators spent the last two days arresting more than 30 suspects and filing more than 130 charges.

Undercover detectives say they have spent months working on the cases.

Sheriff Jimmy Thornton credits the community for calling in hundreds of tips.
