RALEIGH, N.C. — Three
Wake County
elementary schools will have a new start time next year.
The Wake County School Board approved a new bell schedule by a vote of 5 to 4 Tuesday evening.
Students at Carver and Knightdale elementary schools will start at 9:15 a.m. Hodge Road Elementary will start at 8:30 a.m.
Seven new schools are opening in the fall, making a shift in students and transportation patterns necessary.
