COATS, N.C. — A daycare that has been open for 26 years in Harnett County is closing down at the end of May.
The center is part of the Coats Baptist Church. It is one of only two daycare facilities in the area.
The decision to close, made by the church congregation, leaves 62 families scrambling to find alternative child care. Most of the families are not members of the church.
The center's last day is scheduled to be May 28.
