Two Sought After Firing Shots, Car Wreck In Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Police are trying to piece together a series of events that happened in a north Fayetteville neighborhood Thursday evening.

Officers were called to a shooting on Rosehill Road around 7 p.m. A woman there was grazed by a bullet. She is expected to be OK.

Police say the people they believe are responsible drove away and were involved in an altercation with a group in another car. They say shots were fired from both vehicles, but no one was hurt.

The subjects' car sped away and hit a truck. The truck was totaled, but the driver ws not injured.

After the wreck, the subjects fled on foot. Police are still looking for them.
