HOPE MILLS, N.C. — Town commissioners recently approved a design for a new dam on Hope Mills Lake.
The Rose Group designed the dam and will handle the rebuilding of Lakeview Road. Work on the bridge and Lakeview Road is scheduled to be complete by December.
The new dam is expected to be complete in June 2005.
Hope Mills dam collapsed after heavy rains over Memorial Day weekend.
