GARNER, N.C. — A salvage and auto repair shop outside of Garner was destroyed by fire Monday morning.
The incident happened at Highway 50 Garage and Salvage at 2705 Benson Road.
Employees were able to get one of the two cars parked inside out of the building before the flames got to it.
Workers did have a woodstove on inside the garage, but the fire marshal does not yet know if that is what started the fire.
