Thief Makes Off With Tools Used To Build Habitat Home

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — The kind work of others is being slowed down by an unkind thief.

Someone recently stole $4,000 worth of tools from a locked trailer on Jimmy Carter Way.

The tools, owned by Habitat for Humanity, were at a new homesite for a family. Most of the tools were bought with donated money.

The local director of Habitat for Humanity said it is a huge setback for the nonprofit group.
