Former Methodist Football Player Reaches Settlement

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The former college football player who says teammates hazed him has settled his lawsuit.

Kent Murphy and Methodist College settled out-of-court. Neither side will say how much money the parties agreed upon.

Murphy says seven football players attacked and sexually assaulted him in 2002.

Prosecutors dropped criminal charges last year.
