HALIFAX COUNTY, N.C. — A community college already under fire for its spending habits is under more criticism.
State Community College President Martin Lancaster is objecting to a pay raise given to Ted Gasper, president of Halifax County Community College.
Lancaster said the Board of Trustees used money budgeted for vending machines to give Gasper a $7,400 raise.
