BUTNER, N.C. — A man accidentally drove his car into a house Monday in the 2600 block of West Lyons Station Road in Granville County, sending four people inside the house to local hospitals.
The accident happened about 4 p.m. near Otha and Mangan Roads, north of Butner.
According to the Highway Patrol, James Green accidentally put his car into drive instead of reverse and crashed into the front of the house.
The injured were identified as Thurman Spell, Christine Hart, Sammy Hart and Dexter Hart.
Spell was taken to Duke Medical Center, the other three to Durham Regional Hospital.
None of the injuries was considered life-threatening.
No charges will be filed against Green.
