CARY, N.C. — Cary Mayor Ernie McAlister is on a field trip, checking out the kind of development that could come to his city.
The mayor flew to Scottsdale, Ariz. Thursday and will be there through Sunday. During the trip, he will visit a multimillion-dollar hotel, spa and golf course built by the Woodbine Development Corp.
Woodbine is talking with McAlister about possibly building the same kind of resort in Cary.
