WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — An inmate released by mistake is back behind bars.
Carlos McCoy was re-arrested at a traffic stop.
McCoy escaped from the Wake County Jail in December. He is accused of shooting another man four times last summer. Now, he faces more charges, including a new one: possession of cocaine with intent to sell.
McCoy is being held on more than $1 million bond.
