SPRING LAKE, N.C. — The Spring Lake man charged with the murder of his 2-year-old stepdaughter in 2002 pleaded guilty in Harnett County Superior Court.
Andrew Stewart, a 22-year-old New York native, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and felonious child abuse inflicting serious injury.
He was sentenced to between 94 and 122 months in prison.
