NASH COUNTY, N.C. — Convicted murderer Mike Peterson has been moved to solitary confinement.
Peterson was moved to the segregated cell a week ago, but a prison spokeswoman would not say why he was moved. An investigation is under way.
The Durham novelist is serving a life sentence at Nash Correctional Institution. Peterson murdered his wife, Kathleen, two years ago in the couple's mansion.
