RALEIGH, N.C. — Four Triangle-area students earned a perfect 1600 on their SATs.
Three of the students attend East Chapel Hill High School. The other is a senior at Chapel Hill High School.
A 1600 represents the highest a student can score on the SAT, but students can miss two answers and still get the score.
The average score for North Carolina students is 1001.
