HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A Harnett County postal worker accused of stealing mail faces new charges.
Harnett County deputies arrested Garland Avery in April. He lost his job, but he was later reinstated.
Avery is now charged with 91 counts of larceny.
Many residents were angry because Avery was put back on the same route. Postal officials will not comment on the investigation.
