RALEIGH, N.C. — New schools will mean new schedules and new bus routes for many students in Wake County.
Tuesday night, the Wake County School Board discussed proposed start and end times for seven new schools next year.
Slight schedule changes were also suggested for Carver, Hodge Road, Knightdale and Zebulon elementaries.
The reassignment of 8,000 students also means a shift in many bus routes, which will be drawn up this summer.
The 2004-05 school reassignment plan is expected to be approved on March 30.
Board members are expected to vote on the changes next month.
