HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — Officials have made two more arrests in the death of a Sanford man.
Investigators charged Anthony Clemmons and James Jones Jr. with accessory after the fact.
Harnett County deputies say Dennis Clemmons, Anthony's brother, was beating Thurman Allen's daughter. When Allen confronted Dennis Clemmons, police say Dennis Clemmons shot Allen to death.
Investigators say Anthony Clemmons helped his brother hide the murder weapon and Jones helped Dennis Clemmons get away.
Dennis Clemmons is in jail without bond.
