WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — One man is in trouble following a high speed chase in Wake County early Friday morning.
Morrisville police say they attempted to stop Terry Sims on Chapel Hill Road around 2 a.m. Friday.
Police say there was a short high speed chase, but police decided to back off because it was too dangerous. However, Sims apparently lost control and crashed into a light post at the corner of Evans Road and Dynasty Drive.
Sims was treated at the hospital and released. His passenger has a broken leg and hip, but no life-threatening injuries.
Police say Sims will be charged with felony speeding to allude arrest. His passenger does not face charges.
