DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating a possible link between two stabbings.
On Tuesday, a driver found the body of a woman lying on the railroad tracks near Ellis Road. The state medical examiner is working to identify the victim.
Officers are trying to determine if that case is connected to a similar assault near Sherwood Park last summer. In that case, the victim survived.
