CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — It has been exactly two years since Kent Jacobs went missing in Cumberland County.
Jacobs disappeared near his mother's Hope Mills home in 2002. He is mentally challenged.
Investigators launched a massive search for Jacobs using dogs, boats and airplanes.
Jacobs' family holds on to hope that he will soon be found.
A remembrance ceremony for Jacobs is planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, March 14, at Hope Mills Lake.
