Woman's Body Found On Durham Railroad Tracks

— Police in Durham are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found on the railroad tracks near Ellis Road Tuesday morning.

A motorist called 911 around 9:40 a.m. to report a body behind a warehouse.

Officers found the body of a white female lying on the railroad tracks.

The woman's identity and cause of death are not yet known, but investigators are treating it as a homicide.
