FRANKLINTON, N.C. — Wilton Elementary School in Granville County will close at 1 p.m. Monday due to a partial power outage and no drinkable water. Parents should pick their children up as soon as possible.
School officials said buses will run on their regular afternoon schedule beginning at 2:45 p.m. for parents unable to pick up their children early.
Parents with children in the after-school child-care program should follow the inclement weather procedures for early dismissal. Other school programs will be canceled for the remainder of the day and evening.
