<b>PASQUOTANK COUNTY, N.C.</b> — An university is putting up money to solve the apparent homicide of one of its students.

Brian Pender was shot to death Monday in a house near the campus of Elizabeth City State University. Police think he was the victim of a violent robbery.

Elizabeth City State University is putting up $2,000 to find the person responsible.
