WILSON, N.C. — It has been a long time coming, but North Carolina's Baseball Museum is finally ready to welcome baseball fans.
The Wilson facility officially opens to the public Saturday morning.
More than 800 people got a sneak peak at the memorabilia at an event in February.
Visitors can also view showcases devoted to the seven North Carolinians inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.
