HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — A Fayetteville man died after a tanker truck overturned Thursday in Harnett County.
A tanker carrying resin overturned Thursday morning near Highway 24 and Highway 27. Crews say the gluelike material is not hazardous.
The driver, who died, was identified as Danny Jennings, 40, of Fayetteville.
Natural resins are various solids or semi-solids that are fusible. They are usually transparent or translucent and yellowish to brown. Some resins are used in varnishes, printing inks, plastics and medicine bottles.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the incident. Authorities said the driver may have had a medical condition.
