CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. — A Cumberland County teenager accused of killing his mother has pleaded guilty.
Kyle Worledge shot his mother, Delores, in August 2002. She died a few weeks later.
Worledge was only 17 years old at the time of the murder.
By pleading guilty to second-degree murder, Worledge will serve up to 20 years in prison.
