Littleton Hangs Up On Cell Phone Ordinance

LITTLETON, N.C. — The only North Carolina town to ban cell phones while driving is hanging up on the ordinance.

Littleton's town commissioners voted 3-2 Monday to remove the ban from the books.

The move came after people in the small Halifax County town complained the ban would cost more in lost business than money generated from the $10 fine.
