RALEIGH, N.C. — WRAL has learned that the Federal Bureau of Investigation has requested Rep. Frank Ballance's campaign finance reports from the state Board of Elections.
Agents are tracking money that flowed in and out of a drug counseling center that Ballance founded when he was a state senator.
A federal grand jury is also asking questions.
