Woman Who Accused Julius Hodge Of Attempted Sexual Assault Being Held In Jail
Posted — UpdatedThe woman filed a complaint with police Thursday alleging Hodge attempted to sexually assault her at his condominium, Denver Detective John White said. The alleged attempt happened at about 11 p.m. Wednesday, about 12 hours before the complaint was filed.
In 2003, the woman was convicted of assault for attempting to slit her husband's throat because she believed he was having an affair. She was sentenced to three years probation.
Hodge, a rookie with the Denver Nuggets, has not been arrested and will be questioned by investigators before they decide whether or not to file charges.
Earlier this week, an attorney for Hodge called the allegation false and baseless.
Officials with the Colorado Coalition Against Sexual Assault said the woman's past has nothing to do with the alleged attempted sexual assault.
