Carolina Hurricanes' Foundation Raises Money For NCCU Program

DURHAM, N.C. — North Carolina Central University received a generous visit from an RBC Center regular.

"Stormy," the mascot for the Carolina Hurricanes, presented a check Friday to University Chancellor James Ammons.

The money will go to the Oxford Manor School and Family Center, a program to help low-income families.

The Hurricanes' Kids and Community Foundation raised the money.
