Dunn Woman Accused Of Taking Money From Church Faces More Charges

DUNN, N.C. — There are new charges for a woman accused of taking advantage of a church fire.

Helen Finch faces two more counts of obtaining property under false pretenses.

Police say Finch collected money on behalf of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Dunn. Officers say she kept it for herself.

The church was destroyed by fire in October.

Finch remains in jail on $11,000 bond.
